We offer Acryclic, Metallic, Canvas and Paper printing.
Acrylic is an artsy looking, high definition picture, fantastic for non bright parts of your environment.
Metallic, is high definition, long lasting, more forgiving for contrasting lights and brightness in the environment. Great option if looking to print really large frames.
Canvas, is lower definition, is great for far away image, is not meant for you to appreciate up close, it’s a canvas. Very Expensive.
Paper, as the word implies, is the most economical version of the four.
Post Processing
After every photo shoot, a series of workflows must be completed to high-grade, rank, and select images that will then go through two critical final post‑processing workflows.
Pre‑processing steps
Import and initial cull: The first step is in Capture One (the flagship software for Phase One). We load both Phase One and Canon files and high‑grade and rank images based on illumination, depth of field, composition, sharpness, and lighting. This integration typically results in a high‑grade selection of roughly 70% of the pictures.
Portfolio‑based selection: Depending on the size of the shoot, it is not feasible to fully edit every image, so hard decisions are made based on the artist’s portfolio to choose which images proceed to the next stage. Each selected image then follows two distinct workflows.
Processing steps
Raw processing in Capture One: When captured, a RAW file has no final tonality, color, or “life.” Processing is the workflow that brings detail and vitality to the image in bulk. (Smartphones do a form of this automatically in a fraction of a second; here it takes longer because the artist interprets the captured scene according to their vision.) In RAW processing you modify parameters such as exposure, contrast, brightness, curves, levels, highlights, and shadows, among others.
Export to Photoshop: Once RAW processing is completed in Capture One, the images are exported to Photoshop for the final editing and finishing steps.
Post Processing Steps
In Photoshop you modify, similar parameters as the raw processing, however these are surgically applied to specific areas of the image. Say the crosswalk needs to be brighter, certain areas of the clouds darker, higher contrast on the brick and facade of the building. That is photoshop. You also clean up dust, hairlines, and make necessary changes to the sky.
